Why You Don’t Need To Be Perfect

You are not expected to be perfect. No one expects perfection from you.

According to Alan Stein Jr., ‘No one gets it right every time.’ That is why you shouldn’t worry about failure. It will happen, like it or not.

It does not matter what you do. You are not going to get it right the first time. Because of that, if you want to grow, you must be patient with yourself.

Don’t strive for perfection. Instead of wasting your time, why not go for excellence? Why? Because

If you are striving for perfection, you are not going to win the fight. You are going to lose it. It is a losing fight. Don’t even try to face perfection.

It is not going to happen. It is not going to happen because we are human beings. We are still growing. We are still developing yourselves. We are still improving our lives.

We are not free from making mistakes. And mistakes are going to happen. If you are not making mistakes, if you are not messing up, if you are not screwing up, you are not trying enough. You are not pushing yourself enough. You are not taking risks.

If growth is what you are after, then you must focus on excellence, not perfection.

Excellence is possible, but perfection is impossible. So if you want to lead yourself forward, you must focus on excellence, not perfection.

Focus on getting better every day. Why is that? Because we are still growing. We never stop learning. We never stop growing. We never stop developing. And we never stop improving our lives.

The question is, ‘What are you doing to improve your life? Are you going to stay the same forever?’

Your Success Will Be Determined By …

Your success is not determined by your education,
by how many books you have read,
by how many people you have in your contact list,
by how many degrees you have.

But by what?
Your success will be determined by how you live your life. When it comes to success,
how you live your life matters,
the people you meet, the thoughts you think,
and how you see yourself, they are important.

Because you cannot separate your success from how you live your life. According to David Starr Jordan, 'There is no real excellence in all this world which can be separated from right living.''

Can you do that? Can you separate your life from your success? Try it.
