Do You Have The Courage To Love Everything About Yourself?

Yes, that is right! ‘Life is too short to spend it at war with yourself.’ It is too short.

You are not alive to fight war with yourself. You are here to enjoy your life. You are here to work, to write your own story, to make a difference in the world.

To do that, self-love comes first, not last. Because if you don’t love who you are, you won’t be able to do what you are here to do.

That is why loving yourself is the first thing to do for yourself. If you are not loving yourself, you are fighting yourself.

If you are not loving your life, you are regretting it. If you are not in love with who you are, then you are comparing your life to other people’s lives.

If you do not love yourself, you are secretly hating your life.

You are saying things like: ‘Is life even worth living? Why is my life not like other people? Why am I not getting what other people are getting? Why am I not living like other people? Why am I not working like other people? Why am I not earning what other people are earning? Why am I still where I started? What am I doing to myself?’

Stop it. Thinking negatively about yourself is not going to help you. Instead, it is going to keep you where you are.

If you want to move forward in your life, you have got to embrace everything about yourself. You have got to love everything about your life.

You must stop doing things that have no power to lift you up. You must start doing things that have the power to lift you up, to take you to where you want to be.

It starts with self-love.

As always, no matter what you are going through in your life, just remember this: ‘You are more, not less!’

What Are You Still Holding On To?

‘Holding on is not the same as taking care of what you value or protecting that which is yours.’ – Iyanla Vanzant

To you, what does ‘holding on’ mean? Does it mean taking care of what you have? Does it mean fighting to defend what you already have?

Why do we even hold on to things that we know are not helping us? Why?

Because we don’t want to lose our things. We want what we already to be there, to stay with us. We don’t want to lose them. We love what we have.

Guess what, if you don’t let go, nothing is going to come in. To let go is to let in. If you want to see new things in your life, you must let go of the old ones.

You cannot be in two places at the same time. That is not possible. If you want to be good at what you are doing, you will have to let go of one.

Letting go means freedom. It won’t hurt you. Instead, letting go is a blessing.

Remember why you are here. Your life matters. You are not here to protect what is not worth protecting. You are here to live your life, to be who you are, to do what you love to do.

If you do not want to let go of what is no longer helping you, what you need won’t be able to get to you.

For example, to grow, you must do whatever you can to make it to where you can make your dreams happen. Do not let things hold you back. And do not hold yourself back by holding on to things that have no power to change your life.

The question is, ‘What are you holding on to?’ Whatever it is that you think in your life that you are still holding on to, if it is not helping you, if it is not getting you closer to your dreams, you MUST let it leave your life.

Because you don’t have time to waste. Because you life matters. Because you want to advanve to your next level.

In the words of Iyanla Vanzant, ‘When you can stop holding on, you begin to realize that your blessings cannot be taken away, nor will they go away until the Universe is ready to up the ante.‘ She is right.

You can stop holding on. You can do it when you start small. Do not rush yourself. Because ‘rushing leads to nowhere.’
