Most of us have been waiting for the perfect time that never shows up. This is one of the reasons why people are not successful in life. There is no right time to do something that is important to you. The perfect time to act on your dream is now. Now! Not later, not in the evening, not in the night, not tomorrow, not next month, not next year, but now.
“Now” has an incredible power to change your life. What you have is now. You can control what is happening now. You know what is happening now, but you don’t have control over what is going to happen tomorrow. No one can control tomorrow. No one can predict what is going to happen to you tomorrow. So, why waiting for tomorrow to act?
People don’t act now not because they are not smart enough to act, not because they don’t have the required talents and skills to act, but because of the fear of making mistakes. This is the problem with lots of people. The fear of making mistakes. How can you grow without making tons of mistakes? Is that even a question to ask? Maybe. Maybe not.
People who wait for the perfect time never achieve anything. There is no perfect time to act than now. If you don’t act now, you will never act again.
If you want to grow, if you want to achieve the incredible, don’t wait for the perfect time, don’t focus on what people will say. Don’t focus on the mistakes you will make. Instead, focus on what you will become after you have acted on your dreams. Don’t focus on being perfect. Just go for what you want. You cannot be prefect without being first imperfect. If you don’t act on your dreams, you will not be imperfect. If you are not imperfect, you cannot be perfect.
Finally, just go for what you want. Do it now! As James Thurber said, “Don’t get it right; just get it written. Yes, don’t get it right; just go for it.
