Why People Act Bravely

‘People don’t act bravely because a leader asked them to. They act bravely because they believe their small action could move things forward toward a vision that actually matters.’- Todd Henry

People work for themselves, not for you. On paper, they work for you. But in reality, they work for themselves.

So if you want people to work for you, to help you succeed, you must invest in them. Show them what you are doing. Tell them why you are doing it. And where you are taking them to.

Because if they do not know where you are going, why you are going there, your people are not coming with you.
