“Fear. It creates anger and selfishness.”- Seth Godin

Fear prevents you from creating your life. Fear stops you from living your life. It keeps you in your favorite place. It stops you from trying anything new. It paralyzes your thinking. It is not what you want to think about. It is not what you want to talk about. It is not what you want to live with. Fear is there, but don’t feed it. If you don’t feed your fears, then you can do something about them. They are many. They are more than one. We fear everything. We even fear ourselves.

Since we know fear is there to hunt us, but what are we going to do about it. We can’t stop fear, but we can learn to live with it. We can learn to manage it. If you want to manage your fears, you must first name it. If you can’t define it, you will find it hard to manage. But if you understand the laws of nature, you can manage it.

Just recognize fear for what it is, but don’t let it stop you from doing your best. Don’t let fear stop you from being your best. Don’t let fear take your dreams away. Don’t feed your fears, starve them to death. If you don’t starve fears, they will starve you. They will cripple you. Face them. Don’t let it happen to you. You are bigger than your fears. You are more powerful than your fears. You suffer when you feed your fears. You live when you starve your fears. You enjoy your life when you face your fears. They have no power over you. You must do something about your fears.

To live a normal life, you must put your fears under control. You must not allow your fears to control you. You must not allow your fears to stop you from moving forward. You must not allow your fears to keep you in your comfort zone. Don’t empower your fears. Disarm them. You must make sure you don’t focus your attention on what you fear. Instead, you must focus your attention on defeating your fears. If you don’t do that, fear will take over your life.

When you acknowledge your fears, then you can do something about it. But if you don’t acknowledge your fears, you can’t control them. They will control you. You cannot manage what you don’t acknowledge. To manage something (fear), you must first acknowledge it. If not, your strategies to deal with them will fail. They will fail badly. Fear is there. But don’t let it control you. Don’t let fears stop you from being your true self. If you do, then you are not living, you are just existing. Do you want to live your true life? The choice is yours.

You have the power to control your fears. Fear brings fear. It keeps you from trying something new, something different. It cripples your innovative mind. A fearful mind is a passive mind. It can’t create anything. It is an idle mind. If you want to deal with your fear, you must face it. Be brave. Don’t let your fears keeps you in your comfort zone. It is good to stay in your comfort zone. But if is not what you want, you must get out! It is just your comfort zone. Nothing more, nothing less. If you stay in your comfort zone, you are stopping good things from getting to you. You are stopping positive things from getting to you. You are denying yourself your true life. Remember, you are not here on this earth to exist, but to live. But if you can’t move through your fears, how can you live your life?

Don’t fear. Instead, use your fears to get to the next level. Use your fears to change your life. How? By listening to what they have to tell you. They have something to tell us. The question is: Are we ready and willing to listen?” If you listen to what your fears have to say, you will understand them better. If you don’t understand something, how can you work with it? You can’t.

To move forward, you must do whatever it takes to understand your fears, why you fear them, and what you can do about them. You can do something. You have the power, so use it to change your life. Don’t let your fears control you. Don’t let your fears control your actions. And don’t let fears stop you from pursuing your dreams. If you do, you will never be happy. To stop that, you must face fears.

The Dark Side Of Multitasking, According To Research

“Until we can manage time, we can manage nothing else.”- Peter Drucker

Happiness comes from doing what is in front of us. We try to multitask ourselves, but it is hard to do. We think we are ready for it, “but research has shown that our brains are not nearly as good at handling multiple tasks as we like to think they are.”

If you really want to enjoy your life, if you want to enjoy your work, focus on one thing at a time. Don’t listen to those who brag about how good they are at doing one trillion things at the same time. They are just bragging! Just bragging!

You are supposed to enjoy what you are doing, right? But if you engage yourself in multiple tasks at the same time, you are reducing the fun that comes from your work. If you are not enjoying your work, think about it. Ask yourself, “Is this job the right one for me?” If not, find a way to make it better. If you can’t make it better, it is time to move forward.

Doing multiple things at the same time is good, but not for everyone. Some people are good at it, others not. If you are not one of them, don’t do it. If you want to enjoy your work, focus on what is right in front of you.
