Why Are You Waiting For Somebody Else To Fix You?

I can’t fix you. Only you can fix yourself. Do not wait for somebody to come and fix you.

One way to fix yourself is to know what to stop doing. If what you are doing is not helping you, stop it.

“You are responsible for fixing yourself.”

Fixing yourself is not about changing your body shape; it is about changing your mindset. It is about how you see yourself, your life, your work. Rupi Kaur writes, “If you are not enough for yourself, you will never be enough for someone else.” You are good enough for yourself. You are good enough for your family. And you are good enough for the world. Because you are you.

You can’t fix yourself without first fixing your mind. Because everything happens in your mind.

If you take care of your mind, your body will take care of itself. Fixing is about your mind, not about your body. Your body has nothing to do with it.

“You are responsible for saving yourself.”

Fixing your life is about acceptance. It is about accepting who you are. It is not about beating yourself up. It is not about rejecting yourself. It is not about rejecting your life. It is about loving yourself. It is about loving your life.

Do not wait for people to fix you. Fix yourself. Because you are responsible for your life. According to Oprah Winfrey, “You are responsible for your life- and when you get that, everything changes. … So don’t wait for somebody else to fix you, to save you or complete you.” No one can do that. Only you have the power to fix yourself. Why not go ahead and do it?

Allow Yourself To Feel Whatever It Is You Are Feeling

We are human beings. Whatever it is that you are feeling, allow yourself to feel it. Only by allowing yourself to express your feelings can you know your true self. Do not hide your feelings.

It is okay to show your emotions. It is okay to feel your feelings. Don’t be afraid to tell people how you feel about them. If they are your true friends, they will stay with you. But if they are your false friends, they will disappear. Let them go. Your true friends will come to you. It is better to live alone and be happy than to live with people and be sad.

Whether people like it or not, you should never stop being your real self. Accept your life. Eckhart Tolle says, “Accepting means you allow yourself to feel whatever it is you are feeling at that moment… you can’t argue with what is. Well, you can, but if you do, you suffer.” Listen to your feelings. If you want to know what is happening within you, listen to your feelings. Do not ignore them.
