Why Are You Waiting For Somebody Else To Fix You?

I can’t fix you. Only you can fix yourself. Do not wait for somebody to come and fix you.

One way to fix yourself is to know what to stop doing. If what you are doing is not helping you, stop it.

“You are responsible for fixing yourself.”

Fixing yourself is not about changing your body shape; it is about changing your mindset. It is about how you see yourself, your life, your work. Rupi Kaur writes, “If you are not enough for yourself, you will never be enough for someone else.” You are good enough for yourself. You are good enough for your family. And you are good enough for the world. Because you are you.

You can’t fix yourself without first fixing your mind. Because everything happens in your mind.

If you take care of your mind, your body will take care of itself. Fixing is about your mind, not about your body. Your body has nothing to do with it.

“You are responsible for saving yourself.”

Fixing your life is about acceptance. It is about accepting who you are. It is not about beating yourself up. It is not about rejecting yourself. It is not about rejecting your life. It is about loving yourself. It is about loving your life.

Do not wait for people to fix you. Fix yourself. Because you are responsible for your life. According to Oprah Winfrey, “You are responsible for your life- and when you get that, everything changes. … So don’t wait for somebody else to fix you, to save you or complete you.” No one can do that. Only you have the power to fix yourself. Why not go ahead and do it?
