Living A Life Of No Regret

A life worth living might be measured in many ways, but the one way that stands above all others is living a life of no regret.’– Gary Keller with Jay Papasan

Live your life to the fullest. Do not worry yourself about what is happening around you. I am not saying you should forget about your people. That is not what I am saying.

When I say don’t worry about what is going on around you, I am talking about distractions, not your people. But your people can also distract you from reaching your goals.

If you see it coming to you, avoid it. It is better to avoid it. If you don’t, you are going to get distracted.

Distraction can lead to frustration. When you are not doing what is important to you, it can lead to a life of regret.

If you do not want to regret your life, don’t worry about things that are not going to help you get better. Instead, follow your heart. Listen to your heart.

What is your heart telling you to do? What are you hearing from within you? What are you thinking about every day? What really makes you happy? Above all, what do you stand for?

If you do not know what is important to you, that can get in your way of achieving your dreams.

Do not let that be you. Because life is too short. Whatever makes you happy, do it. Do not follow what others are doing. If it does not make sense to you, then don’t go there.

Remember, decisions have consequences. If you do not want to regret your life, then you must put yourself together.

When you focus on what is important to you, when you focus on what makes you happy, when you take action to change your life, to live your life, when you are okay the way you are, when you don’t care about what other people are doing, then you are on your way to greatness.

Remember that you are responsible for your life. Whatever you want, you can create. Don’t give in to regret. Don’t invite regret into your life. It is a waste of time. It gets us nowhere.

Regret gets us nowhere. Regret means no life. Happiness means life. And love means life.

Choose a real life, not a life of regret.

Is Where You Are The Right Place For You?

Successful people attract other successful people. Why do you think that is? Why not the other way around? Successful people are around other successful people because they want

to continue to grow, to expand their social connections,

to continue to ask real questions, to meet other people who are very hungry,

to challenge themselves, and to live well.

Because success is attractive. If you want to better yourself, you must hang out with those who are doing interesting things. Don’t hang out with people who are just happy with what they are doing, who are not interested in growth, who are scared of leaving what they are used to.

Look, success is not what you cannot make. You can, but you have got to be willing to do the work, to challenge yourself. Success is not going to happen in your life if you just continue to do what you have always done. If you want to experience something new in your life, you have got to step out.

When you step out, you will start to attract new things into your life. Success won’t happen if you are not in the right place.

What is the right place? The right place is where you are free to challenge yourself.

The right place is where growth is possible. It is where you are free to challenge the status quo, where people are willing to help you when you need help.

The right place is where people are friendly, real friendly. The right place is where you are safe to talk about what you are going through in your life, where you can seek help, without the fear of rejection from colleagues.

The right place has problems, but they know how to deal with them.

That is why the right place is where people want to be, want to work. If you want to be successful, where you are matters.

If where you are is not doing it, is not supporting you, if you are just there, just killing time, you had better leave. If you stay, nothing is going to happen.

The question is, ‘Is where you are the right place for you? If you are not feeling it, ‘What are you doing to make your life better?
