Why You Should Stop Searching For Happiness

Happiness is driving the world crazy. We want happiness. We want it today. We want it now. We want happiness, but the question is, “Are we doing the right things? Are we loving ourselves? Are we loving other people? Are we giving out enough love? Are we giving out enough happiness? If not, we should stop searching for happiness.

You can’t find happiness by searching for it. You find happiness by giving it out to other people. Happiness is about love. It is about gratitude. It is about kindness.

If happiness is what you really want, if happiness is what is driving you crazy, stop searching for it. Because you will never find it. Why? Because happiness is a spiritual thing. You can’t touch it. You can’t catch it. You can’t move it. You can’t see it. But you can feel it.

Yes, you can feel it. It is about how you conduct yourself every day. It is about how you live your life every day. If you want to make yourself happier, according to Christian D. Larson, “Simply exercise general self-control in everything you do.”
