Let us face it. We all want to be great at what we do. We want people to recognize us for what we do. We want to be successful at what we do. It is possible. But it comes with a cost. There is nothing you cannot achieve in your life if you are willing and ready to pay the price. Are you ready?

“You have to perform at a consistently higher level than others. That’s the mark of a true professional.”- Joe Paterno

You can become a true professional. It is possible. If others can do it, you can do it. But you must commit yourself to learning and doing whatever it takes to become a true professional. You must be patient. You must do things differently. You must work harder than others. You must focus on what matters. Because success involves a lot of work. I believe in you. I know with commitment and focus, you can do it. You can succeed. All you need to do is to make the decision to start. Remember, “You are your own luck.” If you want to become a true professional, you must make your own luck.

How To Get To Where You Need To Go

You don’t like where you are now. You don’t like what you are doing right now, right where you are. Don’t be scared to leave. Change is scary. It is going to cost you your comfort zone. And if you want to grow in your life, you must change yourself.

If what you are doing right now is not getting closer to where you want to go, change it. Don’t waste your time on it. You must trust yourself. In the words of Natalie Goldberg, “Trust in what you love, continue to do it, and it will take you where you need to go.” Follow what you love to do. Don’t be scared to face it. Don’t talk yourself out of your own dream. Don’t permit people to talk you out of your dream. It is your dream, not theirs. To make it come true, to get to where you want to go, you must hold your dream, work on it, live it, nurture it, and maintain it. Do you trust yourself?
