How Much Do You Want What You Want?

You know what you want, right? If you know what you want, how much do you really want it?

Do you want what you want because you want people to like you, or do you really want what you want for yourself? Think about it.

The only way to enjoy what you want is to want it for yourself. If you want something for other reasons, you won’t enjoy it.

Your goals have to be your goals. Don’t go after anything because people want you to do it. Do it because you like it. Do it because it makes you happy. Do it because it is bigger than you. Do it because it is really what keeps you going.

Do it if you want it. But don’t do it because everybody is doing it. You are not here to pursue other people’s dreams. You are here to do your own things.

Dr Joseph Murphy said, “How much do you want what you want?” If you want your dream to come true, don’t play with it. Throw yourself into it to make it happen. Don’t just talk about it. You must do the work.

If you really want what you want, you must commit yourself to it to make it happen. If you don’t do that, it means you don’t really want it. Do you really want what you want?

5 Easy Ways To Know Yourself Today

To know who you are, you must face yourself. You must face your fears. You must face your failures. You need to know yourself before you can know others.

Here are 5 easy ways to know yourself today:

You must pay attention to your life.

Pay attention to how you live your life. If you are doing something that is against your values, stay away from it. Socrates said, “Beware the barrenness of a busy life.”

Accept what you don’t know.

It is okay to admit what you don’t know. “It is better to be a fool for a moment than to be a fool forever.” According to Socrates, “One thing only I know, and that is that I know nothing.”

Learn how to think for yourself.

To know yourself, you must learn to think for yourself. It helps you to connect with yourself. As Socrates once said, “To find yourself, think for yourself.”

Believe in yourself.

If you want to get anything done in your life, you must believe that you can do it. According to William Faulkner, “Others have done it before me. I can, too.”

Live your life.

Live your life to the fullest. You have only one life to live, why not enjoy it? Socrates said many years ago that, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” And Henry James said, “Live all you can- it’s a mistake not to.”

Live your life. Do not try to be who you are not. Be honest with yourself and others. If you can do that, you can deal with yourself.
