Worrying is going to happen. It not going to go away. That is life. The big question is what are you going to do to stop it?
Why are you worrying? Why worry? Is it about you? Or is it about the world around you? Whether it is about you, whether it is about the world around you, worrying about things will always be there.
When you worry, you are NOT worrying about yourself; you are worrying about what is going on around you. You are not worry about your life. You are not worrying about where you are at in your journey. You are not worrying about what you are going to give to your kids for breakfast. You are not even worrying about what you are going to do to get to your next level.
You are worrying about things that will never happen, things that you cannot control. You are worrying about what your friends are going to say about your new project. You are worrying about what your boss is going to do about your job. You are worrying about failure. You are worrying about what other people are going to say about your success. And you are worrying about what you are going to wear tomorrow.
Look, if you want to live a successful life, a meaningful life, you must focus on what you can control, not on what you cannot control.
Whatever you can control, control it. Whatever you cannot control, let it go. That is life. Life is about letting go.
What you can control is up to you. What you cannot cantrol is not up to you. What you can change is up to you. What you cannot change is not up to you.
What is up to you? Your thoughts are up to you. Your feelings are up to you. Your emotions are up to you. And your actions are up to you.
What is not up to you? Other people’s feelings are not up to you. You cannot do anything about them. Other people’s actions are not up to you. Again, you cannot do anything about them.
Above all, your success, your happiness, is up to you. Because you can do a whole lot about it.
Instead of worrying about what is never going to happen, why not focus on what you can do right now to change things? Why not? Why worry?
