Is Happiness A Mental Habit?

Happiness is a feeling of pleasure and well-being that ranges from momentary contentment to deep and abiding joy.”– Muriel and John James, Passion for Life: Psychology and the Human Spirit

We all want to be happy. How do we find happiness? How do we attract happiness into our lives? What do we do? Where do we go to find happiness? Is happiness a mental habit? Can we buy happiness? If so, how much does it cost?

You are here on earth to be happy, not to be sad. It is your choice to be happy. Yes, your choice. You can choose to be happy, or unhappy.

If you want to be happy today, right now, not next week, go out there and make someone happy. Do good to people you don’t even know. Your happiness is in your mind. Don’t look outside of yourself to search for happiness. Look inside of yourself. It is right there waiting for you.

James Freeman Clarke said, “Seek to do good, and you will find that happiness will run after you.” If you want to be happy, seek to do something good, and you will find your happiness.

Happiness is a mind game. Not outside game. If you want to be happy, look inside, not outside. Hold yourself accountable for your happiness. Always focus on happy things. Think happy thoughts. You can do that, because you are in control of your thoughts. Think about positive things.

Focus on the things that will make you happy, not things that will make you sad. Again, you are here on earth to be happy. So make yourself happy.

“Happiness is the skill of reacting to the offerings of life by perception and by enjoyment.”-Jim Rohn

Live your life in positive ways. Don’t focus on the dark side of things. Focus on the positive side of things.

Remember that every day is not going to be a perfect day. If you find yourself struggling with something, focus on how you can turn it around. Focus on what will make you happy, and you will find happiness.

Finally, according to Robert Holden, “the more we pursue happiness, the more we forget how to be happy.” You can’t find happiness anywhere. It is in you.

Whatever You Want In Life Is Within Your Reach. Go For It.

Janis Joplin said, “You got to get it while you can.

Before you start your journey to success, you must first define what you are chasing. When you define your purpose, it makes the journey a lot more easier to travel.

There is nothing in life you cannot achieve if you want it badly. You are the only one who can get it.

I don’t know what you want. But whatever it is that you want to achieve in your life, you have got to go get it.

If you want to be successful, think differently, do things differently, pursue the right vocation, hang out with the right people- people who are committed to life, respect the process, and help other people get what they want.

You can get what you want if you plant the right seed. Plant the seed of happiness. Plant the seed of love. Plant the seed of great relationships. Plant the seed of service. Plant the seed of optimism.

“You find what you seek.” “You reap what you sow.”

Mencius said, “What proceeds from you will return to you.”

You can do it.

“The only person stopping you from reaching your goals is YOU.” Everything is out there for you get if you have the guts to pursue it. You are the only one stopping yourself.

In order to free yourself from the prison that you put yourself, you have to start by believing in yourself again. Stop thinking about what you cannot do, and start thinking of what you can do to change your life.

Always see yourself as a warrior. Face your fears with courage. People who are successful do just that. If you want to be successful, if you want to get what you want, if you want to change your situation, you must face your biggest demon- FEAR.

To face your biggest demon-fear, believe in yourself. Don’t jump into what you don’t know how to do. If you do, you have just increased your fear. Start small, but think big.

Starting small is the best way to build self-confidence. It is important because if you try and succeed, you will want to try again, and again, and again. In doing so, you are building your self-confidence.

Remember that the only thing that can destroy fear is ACTION.

“Inaction increases your fear.” “Action decreases your fear.”

“The biggest failure in life is not to start small; it is not to start something at all.”

Whatever you want to start, to do, to begin, to chase, to grow, start it now. The right time is now! Not tomorrow. Not nest week. Now!

Are you ready to go for what you want?
