You Have To Get Rid Of These Things

No one is living a perfect life. No one is perfect.
No one is in full control of everything that is
happening around them.
No one is getting everything right.
And no one is like you.

Yes, no one is like you. And your journey is different.
It is for you. And you must do the work yourself.
You must face your journey yourself.
To do that, you must first get rid of the things that are
holding you back, that are standing between you and your dreams.

You must get rid of toxic friends.
You must get rid of dream killers.
You must get rid of shame.
You must get rid of resentment.
You must get rid of procrastination.
You must get rid of envy.
And you must get rid of your ego, if possible.

If you do not, you are not going to be able to
achieve much in your life.
Why is that? Because the people you are with
will determine how far you are going to go in your life.

If you want to go far, very far, you must be with
people who are going to somewhere,
people who are hungry for more,
people who are never satisfied.
That is where you should be.

“Spend A Day Listening To Your Self-Talk”

To hear yourself, you must pay attention to what you are saying to yourself. Stop saying negative things to yourself. If you do not know what to say to yourself, just say, “I am love myself.” That is good enough.

Pay attention to your words. They are powerful. They can hurt you. If you do not want your own words to hurt you, attention is key.

Here is why:

According to Edith Eger, “What you pay attention to grows stronger. Spend a day listening to your self-talk. Is it full of “I should,” “I shouldn’t,” and “yes, but”? Do you tell yourself, “It’s my fault,” or “I don’t deserve it,” or “It could have been worse”? Replace these messages of guilt or shame with a daily practice of kind and self-talk. As soon as you walk up in the morning, go to the mirror and look at yourself with loving eyes. Say, “I’m powerful. I’m kind. I’m a person of strength.” Then kiss yourself on the back of your hand. Smile at yourself in the mirror. Say, “I love you.”

Yes, love yourself. If you do not have the courage to love yourself, to say, “I love you,” then you have got a lot of work to do.
