“I can’t go back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.”- Lewis Caroll

Yesterday was yesterday. Today is today. And tomorrow will be tomorrow. Life is a continuous process. Life is moving forward , not backward. It is changing.

If you want to move your life forward, you must change. You must stop going back to where people don’t respect you. Stop going back to your comfort zone. Stop going back to your old pain. Let it go.

Let the bad things go. Let your bad friends go. You don’t need them in your life anymore. You don’t need people who will put you down. You need people who will lift you up. You need people who will help you find your purpose in life. They are waiting for you.

But if you keep going back to your old life, how can you make your new life? To make your new life, to nurture your present, to nurture your future, you must stop going back to your old zone. You don’t need it. All you need is now. Are you ready to stop going back to your old pain?

Nothing Will Change Unless You Change It

Nothing will change unless you change it.

Mahatma Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Do not live with what is hurting you. Do not tolerate what is causing you pain. You are not here to endure unnecessary pain.

Stop accepting people who are treating you badly. The more you accept them, the more they will continue to hurt you. Don’t do that to yourself. You deserve better. You deserve a better life, a better work, a better relationship, and a better self. Tell people what you want from them. Tell people what you don’t want. If they don’t listen, let them go.

If people don’t treat you with respect, treat yourself with respect. Treat yourself with love. Don’t worry about who is not treating you right. Whether they treat you right or not, you must treat yourself with respect and dignity. That is all you want. That is good enough.

Let go of the things that are tearing you down. You don’t need them. You need your life. You need yourself. Stop thinking about them. Start thinking about yourself.

What you accept is who you are. Don’t accept anything that is not a part of your future. Don’t accept anything that is not a part of your life. Nothing is going to change unless you change it. Are you ready to let go of your pain?
