“The key to happiness is to reduce expectation.”-James Allen

“Happiness depends upon ourselves.”- Aristotle

“What can be added to the happiness of a man who is in health, out of debt, and has a clear conscience.”- Adam Smith, economist

Happiness comes from self-discipline. Self-discipline is the key to success. You must be a student of self-discipline if you are to make it in life. Believe it or not, nothing happens without self-discipline. Discipline is hard. But if you commit yourself to the art of discipline, success is yours.

When you have the courage to discipline yourself, you can achieve whatever you want to achieve in your life. You can’t do anything productive without self-discipline. If you want to achieve success in life, in your business, and in your relationships, you must practice the art of self-discipline.

You can do it. It is hard to always do the right thing. Sometimes you succeed, other times not. But it is okay to miss a day or two, but don’t stop doing the right thing. Don’t associate yourself with people who are not practicing the art of self-discipline. They will waste your time. They will take you to where you don’t want to be. You must focus on what is in front of you. You must do what will help you get to the next level.

Instead of watching TV, do your work. Instead of doing what will hurt you, do something that will help you reach your goal. For example, instead of struggling with something you don’t know how to do, reach out to a friend who can help you. Surround yourself with people who are ready and willing to help you.

Self-discipline is not easy to practice, but it is the only way forward. It is what you need to succeed. Don’t wait for people to tell you what to do. Don’t do what is nice to do. If you want to grow, you must do what is hard to do. You must do what you are not comfortable doing. You must do what you don’t like to do. Can you?

What Makes You Better

“Failure happens all the time. It happens everyday in practice. What makes you better is how you react to it.”– Mia Hamm

It is okay to fail. If you are not failing, you are not trying. When you fail at something, accept it, and learn from it. If you want to try something new, something that you have never done before in your life, you are not going to do very well at it. But if you don’t give up, you will get better at it.

How you react to failure will make all the difference in your life. If you have the courage to learn from your failure, not criticizing yourself, that is what will make you better than your ego.

“Failure happens all the time. It happens everyday in practice.

What makes you better is how you react to it.”-

Mia Hamm
