How To Be At Peace With Yourself

Peace is not something you buy; it is something you create for yourself. And no one is going to create your own peace for you.

You are responsible for your peace. If you don’t do it for yourself, then be ready for what you are going to be going through every day.

Don’t do that to yourself. If you are not at peace with yourself, it is your responsibility to find out why. Remember, you are responsible for your life.

No one can make you happy. You are the only one who can make you happy. If you really want to be at peace with yourself, you must pay attention to your focus.

Because what you focus on is going to affect your life. If you focus your attention on things that are not in line with your goals, your peace will go away. You will lose your peace.

If you focus on what other people are doing, you are going to lose your peace.

If you do not want to lose your peace, you must focus on what you love. You must focus on your life. You must focus on what is important to you. Not on what is important to other people.

Don’t waste your time on what other people are doing. Instead, focus on creating your life.

Be real with yourself. Do not set goals that you can’t achieve for yourself. Set goals that are in line with what you want. If your goals are too high, you will never get there. If they are too low, you will not feel them.

Peace will come to you when you love who you are, not what you have. Peace is not after what you have. Peace is after what you are becoming. Peace is after where you are going. Peace is after what you are doing to make the world a better place.

If you are not at peace with yourself, you have got to change your focus. And you have got to learn how to manage your expectations.

Remember, peace is an internal thing. If you want to be at peace with yourself, you must protect your inner world.

Why We Should Embrace Our Goals

No matter what you are going through in your life, no matter what life throws at you, to get to where you are going to, you need a plan.

You need a goal. Because ‘goals give us direction.’ They show us where we are going. They take care of our actions.

No matter where you are, if you want to make a difference in your life, you must stay with your goals. You must stay with what you are doing. You must do the work, the real work.

According to Seth Godin, ‘… Every day you get better at something that isn’t that useful- and you are another day behind others who are learning something more useful.’ He is right.

If you want to achieve your goals, you must stay away from doing things that are not going to make you a better human being, that are going to keep you where you are.

To move on, you have got to face what is right for you, no matter how hard. If you don’t have the courage to face your goals, ‘you … put your goal further away.’ Do not do that.

If you want to succeed in your own life, if you are after your growth, your success, you must ‘do something remarkable.’
