Why Not Now?

I agree. ‘The time is now.’ If not now, when? When it comes to your dreams, I believe that the best time to start is now.

Now is better. Now is the right time. Do you know why you are still waiting? Do you know why you are still talking about your dreams?

Why? Do you know? What are you afraid of? Why not now? What is holding you back? Why are you not going after it? Is it fear? Is it the fear of failure? Or is it the fear of success?

Whatever it is that is holding you back, you can face it. But it is not going to happen overnight. It is going to take time to get used to.

Before you continue, ask yourself, ‘Why am I not going after what I want? Why am I holding myself back? Do I have what it takes to go after what I want? Is it the right thing for me? Am I going to do it for the right reason? Is it going to make me happy? Am I doing it for myself?’

According to Mel Robbins, ‘Every day that you allow your fear of somebody else’s opinion, stress over friendships, or concern about how someone will react to prevent you from making the phone call, filling the application, working on the business plan, starting the diet, or putting in the effort, you’re holding yourself back. You’re robbing yourself of your potential. You’re standing still while life moves on around you.’

Your dreams are still alive. They are not dead yet. They are still breathing. To keep them going, to bring them to life, you have got to take action.

Do not let anything stand in your way. You have what it takes to move forward. If you are not moving forward, other people are doing it. If you are still planning to start your journey, other people are already going. They are almost there. What are you still waiting for? Why are you not up? If you are waiting for the right time to come to you, that is not going to happen. If you want your dreams to come true, you have got to make time for them to happen. Will you?

It’s time to let adults be adults.’

Our Perpetual Struggle Against Life Obscures Our Clear, Unbiased Mind

‘Our perpetual struggle against life just as it is, is like a thick cloud over that continually obscures our clear mind, unbiased mind.

But once we’ve gained some sense of that relaxed, open mind- through formal meditation practice or by experiencing gaps and other moments of specialized in our daily life-

we can develop an appetite for whatever helps us pierce through the clouds.’
