How To Create A Life Of Purpose

“Either get busy living or get busy dying.”- Stephen King

The purpose of life is to live, is to be happy. So if you are not living your own life, then what are you doing with it? Are you busy living your life? If you haven’t started living your best life, it is never too late to start. Because if you are not living your life, you are busy living for others.

To live for yourself, to create your own life, you can try the following strategies.

Do not be afraid to live your life out loud

“If you ask me what I came into this life to do, I will tell you: I came to live out loud.” – Emile Zola

Your time on earth is limited. You are not going to live forever. So why are you not living your best life? It is your life. Do not live in fear. Do not let fear stop you from living your best life. Because if you are not living your life, you are wasting it.

Follow your own path

Do you know what you want for yourself? If you know what you want for yourself, do you know how to get there? No matter what you are chasing in your life, you can achieve it. But to do that, you must follow your own path.

In other words, you must find what you love to do and do it well. Lawrence J. Peter said, “If you do not know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else.” Look, if you do not know where you are going, it is okay to ask for help. The Scripture says, “Ask, and it will be given to you.” So if you don’t know what you are doing, ask for help. If you do not know where you are going, ask for help. Because it is okay to ask for help.

Always do your best

If you want the best, you must first give your best. According to Robert Herjavec, “We don’t need to be perfectionists in everything we do- it’s imperfect world, after all. We do need, however, to do everything we are capable of doing in whatever pastime we choose.” Whatever you are doing, do it with all your might. Because you will never get more than what you put into something.

So if you want the best, you must first do your best. H. Jackson Brown once said, “If you’re doing your best, you won’t have any time to worry about failure.” Even if you fail, do it again. Don’t quit!

“When you come to a roadblock, take a detour.”

Success is not easy. It comes with lots of failures. And if you are not willing to fail, if you are not willing to face the impossible, then you are not ready to move on. No matter what you are facing right now, you are not alone. Don’t give up on yourself. No matter what, hang in there. Your time is coming. Mary Kay Ash famously said, “For every failure, there’s an alternative course of action. You just have to find it. When you come to a roadblock, take a detour.” When what you are doing is not working for you, don’t be scared to try something else. Will you try it?

How To Take Care Of Yourself

Self-care isn’t selfish.”

“Never allow people that care little about you to have a grand impact on how you feel.”- Humble The Poet

Don’t wait for anybody to make you happy. You are the only one who can really make yourself happy. So if you don’t like what is going on in your life, you are the BEST person who can change your situation.

You start by taking responsibility for your life. Look, when you treat yourself really well, when you treat yourself with love, when you treat yourself with respect, when you treat yourself with kindness, when you treat yourself with compassion, when you focus on positive things, you will feel really good about yourself. And that is the purpose of your life.

4 Important Ways To Take Care Of Your Life

“Take care of your body.”

Jim Rohn once said, “Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.” Live your life. Stop limiting your life. Whatever you have, enjoy it. Focus on what you have, not what you do not have. Remember that “fear brings worry.” Whatever it is that is going on in your life, if you cannot change it, then do what Dale Carnegie said, “Accept the inevitable.” In other words, get busy with your life.

Do not postpone your happiness

According to Jim Rohn, “Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.” If you want to be happy with your life, with your work, you must design your happiness for the present. Why is that? Because you live in the present. You are no longer living in the past. And no one can do it for you. If you wait for somebody, somewhere to make you happy, you are going to wait forever.

Do not waste your time. It is precious. According to Humble The Poet, “You don’t know how much time you have on this planet so don’t waste those limited moments with folks that don’t deserve your company.” If you want to be happy, you must not waste your time with people who are not making you happy.

Give out love

The best way to attract something into your life is to first give it away. As the old saying goes, “You get back what you give out.” So if you want to attract more love into your life, you must first give out a lot of love. Your love is how you bring more love into your life. In the words of Mitch Albom, “The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in.” You will attract love to you if you have the courage to give other people love. Don’t forget that love heals everything. So if you want to take care of your life, treat yourself with love.

Accept responsibility for your life

“The willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own life is the source from which self-respect springs.”- Joan Didion

If you want where you are now to be different, you must learn from where you are coming from. You must take responsibility for your own life. You must develop the courage to face where you are going. Do not listen to negative people. Do not let other people’s opinions of yourself stop you from living the life you were created to live. As Dale Carnegie once said, “Let’s not imitate others. Let’s find ourselves and be ourselves.” So if you want to live your life on your own terms, you must “find yourself and be yourself.”
