How To Bring Out The Best In Yourself

If you don’t believe in yourself, who do you think is going to believe in you? If you don’t believe in your progress, who do you think is going to believe in it?

Whatever you want to do for yourself, you are the only one who can do it for yourself. Do not wait. Now is the time to get to work. And here is how:

Have a dream.

If you do not have a dream, what do you have? What are you doing to improve your life? Without a dream, you are not going to achieve anything. According to Oscar Hammerstein 11, ‘If you don’t have a dream, how are you going to make your dream come true.’ If you want to achieve your dream, then you must have one.

Mastery takes time.

You can succeed. You can move forward. And you can change yourself. But you have got to take your time. Do not rush through it. If you want to master yourself, you must be patient with yourself. Dan Rockwell said, ‘Mastery has degrees. You aren’t on the mountain top yet.’ Things get better with time. You will get better with time.

Be humble.

Who doesn’t want to work with a humble person? Who does not want to be led by a humble leader? We all want to be around humble people. Why is that? Because they are who they say they are. They don’t belittle people. They don’t defend themselves when they make mistakes. To put it simply, they are just real. And they are not afraid to admit it when they mess up.

Focus on the process.

You can get more done in your life when you don’t worry about where you are going. It doesn’t mean you are not thinking about your future. You are. But don’t let it take you away from what you are doing in the present.

When it comes to your future, where you are right now is very important. What you are doing right now is very important. If you do not take care of where you are right now, if you do not have the courage to live in the present, you are not going to get to where you are going.

In the words of Gina Mollicone- Long, ‘Results don’t come from somewhere else, somewhere ‘out there’. They come from us.’ If you want to get the best results, then you must do your best work.

Do not get too comfortable.

Dan Rockwell writes, ‘The fear of loss maintains the status quo.’ It is okay for you if that is what you want. If growth is what you are after, if life is what you are after, you have got to challenge yourself. You have got to face your fears. If you do not challenge yourself, your status quo, you will never grow.

Wherever you are, always Recruit The Best!

Does Work Frighten You?

Does work really frighten you?
It shouldn't. Because success comes to those who
appreciate work, who love what they do.

You are not going be successful if you don't like to work.
To succeed in life, to be the best at what you do,
you must work.

If what you are doing is not what you love to do,
then try something else. Do not waste your time.
Expand your vision. Put yourself in a place where you
can do your best work.
See beyond where you are.

If the people around you are not supporting you,
then move to where you can find the support that you need.
Surround yourself with people who are doing things.
Surround yourself with people who are going up.
Go to where people are growing, where people are living,
where people are solving problems,
where people are enjoying what they are doing.

No matter where you are, if you want to grow, you must surround
yourself with people who are successful, who are happy,
and who are going somewhere.
