In his book Soundtracks: The Solutiuon to Overthinking, Jon Acuff writes, ‘Overthinking is when what you think gets in the way of what you want.’

If you know what you want, then take action to make it happen . Do not stuck yourself. Do not stuck your dreams. And do not stuck your future. And that is exactly what you are doing to yourself, to your future, to the people around you, when you overthink ‘every little decision.’

No matter what you are doing, you are not going to be perfect. The best way to move forward, to bring out your creative self, is to stop overthinking everything.

If you want to get things done, use what you have right now to start your journey. Yes, life is a journey. If you do not start, you will never arrive.

Do not waste your thoughts. Do not waste your time. Instead of overthinking everything, why not focus on what you can do with what you have? According to Jon Acuff, You can turn overthinking into action.’ Remember, to get anything done in your life, you must take action. And you must stop overthinking every little thing. You will get better as you go.

Because if you waste your time too much, if you do not take action, you are not going anywhere. Is that what you want for yourself?

When you are in harmony with your inner self, you will be happy.

When you are not in harmony with your inner self, you will be unhappy with yourself.

To reconnect with your inner self, do these two simple things.

Ask yourself, ‘Who am I?’ According to Ron Miguel Ruiz, ‘Asking yourself ‘Who am I?’ means taking the first step back to authenticity, or truth.’ If you have the courage to as ask yourself, ‘Who you are?’, you will learn more about who you really are, what matters to you, your dreams, and why you are where you are.

Embrace who you are. Do not try to separate yourself from the life you created. Don Miguel Ruiz writes, ‘Personal growth does get complicated when we try to distance ourselves from the character we created.’ If you do, it won’t help you.
