Why You Should Treat Yourself With Love

Are you treating yourself with love? Are you treating yourself with respect? If you don’t have the courage to treat yourself with love, then why are expecting it from other people? Why are you waiting for others to treat you with love? If you wait, you are waiting for nothing.

“Do not let anyone tell you how to live your life.”

Why is that? Because no one is going to love you more than you love yourself. No one is going to do for you what you can do for yourself. Do not wait. It is your life. If you want to live it, if you want to enjoy it, you must design it yourself. Do not let anyone tell you how to design your life. Do not let anyone tell you where you should go, or where you shouldn’t go.

There is nothing you cannot do if you are committed to doing it. There is no life you cannot live if you are committed to living it. But it all starts with you. Because if you have the courage to change yourself, everything in your life will change. But if you do not have the courage to change yourself, your life is not going to change.

You are strong. You are smart. There is nothing you cannot do. You are capable of doing great things. You can change your life when you let go of the need to impress everyone around you. Do not even try to make everyone around you happy. It won’t work. But you can make yourself happy.

You cannot make everyone around you happy, but you can make yourself happy. Yes, you can make yourself happy. It starts with self-love. It starts with treating yourself with love. Will you do it?

What Is Progress?

What is progress? What does it mean to you? According to C. S. Lewis, “We all want progress. But progress means getting nearer to the place where you want to be.

And if you have taken a wrong turning, then to go forward does not get you any nearer.

If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive man.”

Progress does not mean getting stuck in a rut. It means moving closer to your dream. It means taking responsibility for your life. It means having the courage to face your fears. It means having the courage to tell yourself the truth. It means being your true self. It means having the opportunity to do what you love to do. It means having the courage to walk away from the wrong people. That is progress.

Remember, it does not matter what you do, if you are not on the right track, it is never too late to turn back. Do not stuck yourself in a rut. Because progress means getting back on track. Will you get back on track?
