‘Nervous’ Does Not Equal ‘Not Doing’

‘There will be a moment when you have to step to your spotlight, but once you’ve done it, then it’s easy.’- Lucy Whittington

Stepping out of where we are comfortable is not easy for most of us. But that is what we really need if we want to make a difference in this world, if we want to change our lives.

If you are not making any progress, maybe you need to consider stepping into your own spotlight. Don’t hide yourself from your success.

Whatever it is that you are not comfortable doing, if you want to get better at it, you must face it.

It is okay to be scared, but you must do something about it. In the words of Lucy, ‘Nervous’ does not equal ‘not doing.”

How To Get Noticed

Wherever you are, if you want people to see you, don’t try to copy other people. It is not going to work for you.

To stand out, you must be different. You must do more than others. And you must be nice to other people.

Remember that people want to work with other people who are nice to them, who care about them.

Wherever you are, if you want to get noticed, you must do this:

‘Go out and become that person that others would love to support and nurture.’– Kathy Caprino

If you are not there for other people, they are not going to be there for you. Don’t expect people to come to you. Leave your comfort zone. Put yourself out there. If you want people to meet you, you must get out of your comfort zone.

If you are not meeting the right people, this is why you are not meeting them:

‘You are not in the spotlight as often as you think.’– Dr. Grace Lordan
