‘Extraordinary results becomes possible when where you want to go is completely aligned with what you do today?’– Gary Keller

The process of getting from ordinary results to extraordinary results is a long one. It is a hard one. It requires a lot of work. It requires a lot of planning.

Planning is not everything. Without it, we are not going anywhere.

Like other great things in life, they take time to make. It doesn’t happen overnight. If you want it to happen, you must be willing to do the work.

So how do you get from an ordinary to extraordinary? You can, but you have got to be patient with yourself.

Remember that success starts with knowing what you want. If you know what you want, then you can figure out how to make it happen.

But if you don’t know what you want, you can’t figure out what you do not know. That is the issue with not knowing what you want. It brings confusion into your life.

Getting from where you are to where you want to be, you must change yourself. You must be who you are. Then you can follow your path.

You have got to be patient with yourself. You have got to be patient with the process. Because things take time to mature.

You must commit yourself to where you are going. Do not get distracted. Learn everything you can about your journey. Do not doubt yourself. Believe in your journey. Believe that you can make it happen. And be willing to get your hands really dirty.

When you want something bigger than yourself, you have got to double your power. You have got to be more, think more, and act more.

If you are trying your best to create a better future for yourself, you are getting closer to where you want to go. But to get there, you must commit yourself to doing your best work today.

Living A Life Of No Regret

A life worth living might be measured in many ways, but the one way that stands above all others is living a life of no regret.’– Gary Keller with Jay Papasan

Live your life to the fullest. Do not worry yourself about what is happening around you. I am not saying you should forget about your people. That is not what I am saying.

When I say don’t worry about what is going on around you, I am talking about distractions, not your people. But your people can also distract you from reaching your goals.

If you see it coming to you, avoid it. It is better to avoid it. If you don’t, you are going to get distracted.

Distraction can lead to frustration. When you are not doing what is important to you, it can lead to a life of regret.

If you do not want to regret your life, don’t worry about things that are not going to help you get better. Instead, follow your heart. Listen to your heart.

What is your heart telling you to do? What are you hearing from within you? What are you thinking about every day? What really makes you happy? Above all, what do you stand for?

If you do not know what is important to you, that can get in your way of achieving your dreams.

Do not let that be you. Because life is too short. Whatever makes you happy, do it. Do not follow what others are doing. If it does not make sense to you, then don’t go there.

Remember, decisions have consequences. If you do not want to regret your life, then you must put yourself together.

When you focus on what is important to you, when you focus on what makes you happy, when you take action to change your life, to live your life, when you are okay the way you are, when you don’t care about what other people are doing, then you are on your way to greatness.

Remember that you are responsible for your life. Whatever you want, you can create. Don’t give in to regret. Don’t invite regret into your life. It is a waste of time. It gets us nowhere.

Regret gets us nowhere. Regret means no life. Happiness means life. And love means life.

Choose a real life, not a life of regret.
