The Power Of ‘Identity Leadership’

Real leaders know who they are. They are self-aware. They don’t pretend to be perfect. They are who they say they are. And they are in charge of their lives.

If you want to be like them, you must be comfortable with yourself. Because ‘identity leadership is self-leadership.’

‘If you want your life to get better, then take control of it. It is up to you and no one else.’

Without a strong identity, we are more likely to be carried by the influence of our environment into a future requiring very little reflection or development.’

A lot of people go through life without ever discovering who they truly are. They fall into a pattern, a routine, a job, probably a series of jobs, and they do all of this more or less on autopilot, like a leaf floating downstream, going whichever way the current takes it.’

‘We all have the potential for greatness. Every one of us. The problem is, most of us don’t know what our potential is, much less how to unlock it.’

‘Knowing your core identity means living a life where you fulfill your potential by doing the things that you do best and that energize you.’

‘It’s very freeing when we realize that our success in life is based on our ability and willingness to be the creator of our own future, to take ownership of our life.’

Success flows from understanding success is the end result of becoming clear about your identity, discovering what you love to do, and learning how to do it so well that you create value in the world.’

A leader sees the potential in people and calls it out, helping them to develop to their full abilities.’

True leaders are not looking for posture; true leaders are looking to make a difference and to fulfill their mission in life and business.’

‘Identity leadership is the highest order of leadership.’

Prioritize Yourself: The Key To Personal Fulfillment

Put yourself first. It is your responsibility to put yourself first. Do not be too scared to put yourself first. Do not put yourself last. Do not be too hard on yourself. You are a human being. Beating yourself up is not going to fix your past mistakes.

Putting yourself first means you are not afraid to eat first. It means you are here to live your life to the fullest. It means you are not scared to rest when you are tired.

Yes, rest when you are tired. When you are tired, rest your mind, your body, and soul. When you want to reconnect with yourself, take a break from what you are doing. When you want to enjoy your conversation with yourself, just listen. Be comfortable with what you are hearing.

When you are stressed out, remember who you are. When you are alone, be with yourself. When you are in doubt, trust yourself. When no one believe in you, believe in yourself. When you are scared, do it anyway. Because facing what scares you is the only way forward. Isn’t it?
