This Is The Best Way To Serve Yourself

Serving is giving, not taking. Serving other people is giving something good to them, not taking from them.

When you are serving, you are adding something to other people. You are not taking anything away from them. The question is, ‘Are you serving? Or are you taking, just taking?’

What are you doing? What are you doing to serve other people, not yourself? Are you there for people when they need you? Are you present when you are with other people? Are you alive when you are with yourself? Are you alive when you are with other people?

Serving is not hard. You don’t have to be the smartest to serve others. All you need to serve is your mind. When you are ready, you can start with yourself. You can start with the people around you. You don’t have to travel to anywhere. You can start where you are.

To serve yourself, you must first serve other people. Go out there and make people laugh, smile. You do not have to give them anything. Just be there. See them for who they are. Listen to what they have to say. That is serving.

You are serving yourself when you are serving other people. You are serving when you commit to your own life, when you commit yourself to making other people’s lives better. You are serving yourself when you are in love with yourself, when you are in love with others. You are serving when you are grateful for what God has done for you. You are serving yourself when you put other people first, when you treat them with love and respect.

Serve with respect. It is your only path forward in your life. Why is that? Because serving is giving with love. It is not about how big you are. It is about the love you have for other people. Serving is about your heart, not about your pocket.

So if you want to serve yourself, serve others. Because the best way to serve yourself is to first serve other people. Serving means ‘others before you.’
