When it comes to growth, when it comes to success, when it comes to going after your dreams, waiting is not the right plan. Waiting is not a plan. If the only plan you have is waiting for the right time, you do not have a plan.
Stop waiting. Because life waits for no one. Time waits for no one. And people wait for no one. If you have something in mind that you have been talking about, that you want to do, your best plan is to go after it today, not tomorrow.
It is scary. It is not going to be perfect. People are going to laugh at you. You are going to doubt yourself. But that is okay. It is part of the game. If you do not want people to laugh at you, to laugh at what you are doing, then you are not going to do anything. You are going to stay where you are. You are not going to make any progress. And if you are not doing, you are wasting your time. If you are not trying to get better, you are fighting hard to stay the same.
Do not do that to yourself. Your life is better than that. You are better than that. No one is responsible for your life, you are. If you want it to get better, don’t listen to people who are not going to help you pay your bills.
Instead of wasting your precious time thinking about what people are saying about you, why not get to work. Start with what you have. Don’t worry about being perfect. Just go after what you want. You will get better, but not today. Because greatness takes time.
