Why Waiting For The Right Time Is A Mistake

When it comes to growth, when it comes to success, when it comes to going after your dreams, waiting is not the right plan. Waiting is not a plan. If the only plan you have is waiting for the right time, you do not have a plan.

Stop waiting. Because life waits for no one. Time waits for no one. And people wait for no one. If you have something in mind that you have been talking about, that you want to do, your best plan is to go after it today, not tomorrow.

It is scary. It is not going to be perfect. People are going to laugh at you. You are going to doubt yourself. But that is okay. It is part of the game. If you do not want people to laugh at you, to laugh at what you are doing, then you are not going to do anything. You are going to stay where you are. You are not going to make any progress. And if you are not doing, you are wasting your time. If you are not trying to get better, you are fighting hard to stay the same.

Do not do that to yourself. Your life is better than that. You are better than that. No one is responsible for your life, you are. If you want it to get better, don’t listen to people who are not going to help you pay your bills.

Instead of wasting your precious time thinking about what people are saying about you, why not get to work. Start with what you have. Don’t worry about being perfect. Just go after what you want. You will get better, but not today. Because greatness takes time.

How To Shine, According To Simon Hartley

Winners do not wait for people to call them winners. You can do the same. Don’t wait for prople to make you feel good about yourself.

Because you are enough for you. What matters is what you are doing to change your life.

If you want to shine, according to Simon Hartley, you have to ‘focus on what is right in front of you, right now.’

You have got to ‘fall in love with the processes, and keep your focus on them.’

‘When you are true to yourself and your passion, you’re able to commit.’

You have got to ‘enjoy the journey, rather than focusing purely on the destination.’

You have got to remember that ‘every journey is taken one step at a time.‘

‘Take time to understand the crucial details that will set you apart.’

‘Make the effort to get the tiny things right– ultimately it’s those tiny things that will make a big difference.’

‘Giving up is not the result of failure, it is the cause.’

‘Seek out the opportunities to extend yourself beyond your comfort zone!’

‘Push yourself through your limits– it can be easy to give up when you become uncomfortable.’

‘Seek out and relish the opportunity to take ultimate responsibility and complete control of your performance.’

‘Be open to learning. Sometimes that means accepting that we’re wrong.’

‘The journey to become truly exceptional is really just a part of the journey through life.’
