Why A Single Day Is Enough To Change Your Life

Mario Andretti said, “If you wait, all that happens is that you get older.” So what are you waiting for? Are you waiting for the right time to start? If you are waiting for the perfect time to get out of your comfort zone, stop waiting. The train is living your station. You must do whatever it takes to catch your train. Run!

Stop getting ready. Paul Klee said, “A single day is enough to make us a little larger or, another time, a little smaller.” Is it really possible? Of course, it is possible. It can be done. But you must start. And you must start today. Don’t fear. Don’t doubt yourself. The most important thing is to believe in yourself. Stop waiting for the right time to make yourself bigger, smarter. Start now.

Stop waiting for the right time to go crazy. Because everything is changing. Success doesn’t come from waiting for the right time to change your life. It comes from getting your hands really dirty. It comes from actually doing the work.

You must do the work. You must face your reality. You must embrace change. You must do what you are afraid of doing. You must be comfortable taking risks. There is no perfect time to make mistakes. Start today. You can start today by changing how you do your things, how you make your decisions. Because you cannot change your life without changing your thoughts.

And if you really want to change yourself, you must stop thinking about the past. Remember that you are no longer living in the past. You are living in the moment. This moment needs you. If you are not present with yourself, how can you change your life?

The Power Of Kindness

In the words of Cleo Wade, “There is no way to give kindness to another without knowing it in ourselves first.” Kindness starts with you. Kindness is a healer. So when you feel down, when you feel nothing is working for you, when you are exhausted, when you need to take a break, use the power of kindness to lift yourself back up. Because there is power in kindness.

If you want other people to treat you with respect, you must first treat yourself with respect and dignity. Because kindness is about doing the right thing. It is not about pretending to be who we are not. Kindness is not about faking things. It is about making things real. It is about bringing people together. It connects hearts.

Kindness is a thing of the heart. So whatever you are going through right now, treat yourself with kindness. Show yourself some love. Give yourself what you want from other people. If you want to be loved, love yourself first. If you want to be appreciated, appreciate yourself first.

Don’t focus on what you are going through, focus on what you are becoming. As Friedrich Nietzsche famously said, “To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.” He also said, “That which does not kill us makes us stronger.” What does not kill you, makes you stronger. Whatever it is that you are facing right now, don’t give up, find meaning in it. Because “to live is to suffer.”
