This is how you win: “When life gives you lemons, make a lemonade.” Don’t wait for the perfect time to win. There is no perfect time to win. You can make your time perfect. And you cannot win if you don’t know what you want out of life. And you cannot win if you do not start. In the words of John Maxwell, “You cannot win if you do not begin!” Yes, he is right. To start is to win. To start is to lose. But if you don’t start, you cannot win. If you want to move ahead, you must start now.
Thomas Edison said, “There is no substitute for hard work.” Is he right or wrong? What do you think?
You have what it takes to succeed in your life. But you can’t do that without hard work. You must work really hard if you are to succeed. You have it. You can do it.
Hard work means working smart. It means knowing what you are pursuing. It means self- leadership. It means knowing who to contact when you need help. It means knowing when to restart when things are not working according to your plans. It means focus.
On the contrary, hard work does not mean you should break your back. It does not mean you should spend your time pursuing worthless goals. It does not wasting your time.
Don’t doubt yourself. Believe in yourself. Whatever you want to achieve in life, you must work hard to get it. It is not going to be easy. It is going to be really hard. But if you can hang in there, you can win.
Sometimes when things are really going tough for us, that is when we consider quitting our dreams. Do not do that. When things are tough, that is when you should work really hard to achieve your dreams. Don’t talk yourself out. Don’t allow people to talk you out of your dreams.
James Allen said, “The price of life is effort.” No matter how tough your situation may be, don’t give up. Keep doing what you are doing. If you don’t abandon your dreams, you will get there. But if you don’t pursue your dreams, you will get somewhere, but not at your real destination.
