“Your health is bound to be affected if, day after day, you say the opposite of what you feel, if you grovel before what you dislike, and rejoice at what brings you nothing but misfortune.”– Boris Pasternak

No matter where you are, what you do, if you want to make peace with your soul, your life, your health, you must live your values. You must work your values. They are who you are. Without your values, you are nothing.

If you want people to love, respect, follow you, you must live your values. Don’t say one thing and do another. Don’t celebrate what is hurting you. And don’t rejoice at what brings you pain. Don’t do it. If you do, you will never know your true self. Do you want to be a stranger in your own body?

Harry S. Truman said, “I don’t believe in anti-anything. A man has to have a program; you have to be for something, otherwise you will never get anywhere.”

To stand for something is harder than to stand for nothing. If you don’t stand for something, how can you become something?

What do you stand for? Do you stand for love? Do you stand for happiness? Do you stand for humanity? Do you stand for empathy? Do you stand for compassion? Do you stand for Peace? Do you stand for justice?

The choice is yours. But whatever you stand for, use it to change your life. Whatever you stand for, use it to change the world. Whatever you stand for, use it to heal your soul. Because it is important to stand for something. If you don’t stand for something, you stand for nothing. And if you stand for nothing, you become nothing. Do you want to become nothing? Or do you want to become something? It depends on what you stand for.

What do you stand for?
