Why We Cannot Buy Happiness?

“Happiness is a natural condition of being a person.”- Dr Wayne W. Dyer

Where can we find happiness? Can we make ourselves happy? Can we buy happiness?

Happiness does not depend on anything. It is free. It is natural. It does not cost you anything. Then why are some people not happy? Some people are not happy because they pay attention to things that will come and go. We think that pleasure will bring us happiness. We are dead wrong.

Most of us are not happy because we are looking at the wrong places for happiness. We ignore the ordinary things. We have fine homes, but we are not happy. We have money in the bank, but we are not happy. We have fine cars, but we are not happy. What is going on? What is happening to us? Where have we messed up? What are we doing wrong?

We think that happiness will come when we have enough material things. We are dead wrong! Happiness is not what we can buy from anywhere. The only place we can find happiness is in our minds. Our happiness does not come from the outside, but from the inside. If you really want to be happy, you must embrace your INNER SELF.

Happy thoughts attract happiness. When you think positively about yourself, your life, your family, your friends, your happiness level will go up. It will make your life better. You will perform better at work. You will attract other happy people into your life. But when you think negatively about yourself, your happiness level will decline. It will go down. It will not make your life better. It will worsen everything. It will zap your energy away.

You make yourself unhappy because of the thoughts that you have about the people or things in your life.”- Dr Wayne W. Dyer

In order to maintain your happiness level, focus on happy things, think happy thoughts, associate yourself with happy people, and don’t hang around negative people. Your happiness is in your own hands, so handle it well.

Where is your happiness?

Relax Your Mind

“Man cannot be separated from his mind; his life cannot be separated from his thoughts. Mind, thought, and life are as inseparable as light, radiance, and colour.” James Allen

“Mind, thought, and life are inseparable…” If you want to take care of your life, your work, your health, your relationships, you MUST first take care of your mind.

As I wrote before, “A healthy mind is a healthy body.” You cannot have a healthy life if your mind is not healthy. That is not possible. Only a healthy mind can produce a healthy body. Only a relaxed mind can produce a healthy life. If your mind is not relaxed, you can’t focus in the moment. Only a relaxed mind can focus in the moment.

If your mind is not relaxed, you cannot stay in the moment. You cannot focus on what matters to you. You cannot do what you are asked to do, because your mind is not with you. You are busy thinking about irrelevant things. A busy mind is like a butter fly. It never stops flying.

When your mind is relaxed, you are more creative. You are more aware of your environment. You are more connected to your inner self than when your mind is all over the world.

Free your mind. Declutter your mind. If you want to relax your mind, appreciate every moment of your life. Find time to create those moments when you are not thinking about anything, and just enjoy whatever it is you are doing.

To really relax your mind, you must learn to let go of irrelevant thoughts. Let them come, and let them go. Don’t worry about anything. Just enjoy the moment! Forget about what you are going through, and just concentrate on what is in front of you. Because every moment is special. Every moment is important. If you miss it, you will never get it back.

You are the master of your mind. If you can’t control your mind, who will? No one. And if you cannot control your mind, you can’t control anything. Because your mind is your life. Without a great mind, without a healthy mind, without a relaxed mind, there is no life.

“If you can control your mind, you can control everything.” Are you ready to MASTER your mind?
