‘Don’t Linger In The Ruins’

‘Everything we go through opens us to a greater sense of being, if we don’t linger in the ruins.’- Mark Nepo

Life is not perfect. And do not expect your own life to be perfect. Whatever you have, enjoy it. Whatever you are doing right now, do it well. Wherever you are right now, be there. Live in the moment. Do not postpone your life. There is no time for that.

Whatever you are going through in your life, it is not the end of the world. It is not the end of your life. It is not the end of your career. Whatever it is, let it go.

Do not hold on to something that is not helping you, that is not improving your life. If something is not helping you, it is hurting you. Is that what you want?

If not, then change it. Do something about it. Challenge yourself. Lead your life with hope. And ‘don’t linger in the ruins.’

Focus On Growth, Not Perfection

‘When we focus on small, incremental improvements instead of perfection, the human spirit takes over, and all things become much more possible.‘- Dr. Jason Selk and Tom Bartow

Nothing is perfect. It is okay to be ‘perfectly imperfect.’ That is what you want to fight for, not perfection.

If you want to be perfect before you do anything, you are going to wait forever. Why? Because you can never achieve perfection. But you can grow while you are fighting for perfection.

Growth is possible, but perfection is not. If you focus on perfection, if you are striving for perfection, you are setting yourself up for failure.

Do not do that. It will hurt you. Whatever you want to do, do not wait to be perfect before you take the first step. If you do, you are going to wait forever. And forever never ends. It continues.
