Stop Focusing On Who You Are Not

“Stop focusing on what you don’t have, and shift your consciousness to an appreciation for all you are and all that you do have.”- Wayne W. Dyer

To see what you have, to enjoy what you have, to celebrate what you have, you MUST stop focusing on what you do not have. Stop worrying yourself about what other people have.

Appreciate your life. Appreciate your health. Appreciate your soul. Celebrate your life. Do not bring yourself down. Do not even try to do what you do not enjoy. Why? Because you are not going to be happy with yourself.

Do not forget that “the purpose of our lives is to be happy.” If you are not happy, it is because your focus is not on what you have, not on who you are, not on who you are becoming, but on what you do not have, on who you are not.

Be happy. Do what makes you happy. And you will find happiness within.

You Can Always Give Something

“Be the kind one.” Nothing is too small. You can always give something, even if it’s a simple act of love, of care. You can do it. You have the power to make someone happy. You have the power to bring light into someone’s life.

Do not wait for the perfect time to change the world. Do not wait for the right time to change someone’s life. Start where you are. Anne Frank said, “How wonder it is that no one has to wait, but can start right now to gradually change the world! How wonderful it is that everyone, great and small, can immediately help bring about justice by giving of thmselves! (…) You can always – always – give something, even if it’s a simple act of kindness.”
