How To Handle Self-Doubt

You are free to doubt yourself. But do not give in to it. When you feel it, express it. When it shows up, acknowledge it.

Do not try to supress it. When you do, you are not helping yourself. You are just extending your pain.

Self-doubt is not going to go away by trying to pretend it is not there. It is there.

When it shows up, ask yourself, ‘When I experience self-doubt, how do I respond?’

Do you cry? Hide? Run away? Shy away?

The best way to handle self-doubt is to see self-doubt as something that we must face, something that we must overcome, if we are to move forward.

When you feel it, do not ignore it. Self-doubt is normal. It is not here to stop you from achieving your dreams.

Use it to strengthen your dreams. Use it to strengthen your life. Do not give in to it.

Do not accept it. Why is that? Because you are good enough. You are powerful enough to handle your own life.

Your self-doubt is trying to tell you that ‘you are not good enough.’ That is not true. You are good enough. You can do whatever it is that you want to do. Take on what you can do.

Focus on what is important to you. When you do that, self-doubt cannot stop you from moving forward.

The question is, ‘When self-doubt shows up, what are you going to do?’

How?

If You Want To Change Your Future, Why Not Start With These Questions?

No one is in charge of your future. You are in charge of your own life. If you want to create a better future for yourself, why not start with these questions?

‘Who am I?

What is most core to me?

What does this stage of my life look like?

What does my legacy look like?

How do I do what is vocationally courageous at this stage? and

How do I invest in the next generation and their vocational courage?’-
