Leave Your Comfort Zone For Success

If you are scared of leaving your comfort zone, you are right. If you don’t want to try something new, something that you have not done before, you are right.

Because fear is real. But if you don’t shake things up, if you do not try, if you don’t make yourself vulnerable, if you don’t want to fail, you are preparing to fail.

You are NOT preparing to succeed in your life. You ARE preparing to make it big in your life when you are not scared to fail, when you know when to say no to what is not helping you,

when you don’t waste your time on what is not getting you closer to your dreams, when you are trying and failing, when you are embracing your weaknesses, and when you are comfortable with your life.

‘Where you are comfortable is your comfort zone. Where you are not comfortable is your growth zone. So if you want to grow in your life, you must go to where you are not comfortable.’

Because when you are comfortable with your life, other people will be comfortable with you.

Be comfortable, no matter what. Do not let fear stop you from doing what is right for yourself.

If you want more in your life, you must do what you don’t want to do. You must face your fears. You must not give in to other people’s negative opinions. They have nothing to do with you, but everything to do with them.

How To Keep Growing

Growth never stops. It is a journey. If you want to keep growing, you must keep doing.

You must keep becoming. You must keep challenging yourself. Because we get better when we do more, when we focus on what is really important to us.

Do things that you have not done before. That is where learning is.

Do not settle for less. Doing less is not a strategy. It is going to keep you where you are.

To grow yourself, to expand your life, according to Marthy Neumeier, ‘ … always aim slightly beyond your current abilities. … Focus on the metaskills that will drive your professional success.’

And you can do that. All you need is focus. When you focus on what you are doing, you can do more than you are doing right now.

Just get out of your safe zone. Take on things that are not within your safe zone. If you really want to get to your next level, according to Marthy Neumeier, ‘take on projects and responsibilities that lie outside your comfort zone.’
