Why Obstacles Are Blessings

Obstacles are a blessing.’– Jeff Hoffman & David Finkel

If you know what to do with what you are going through in your life, you are going to come out stronger.

If you know how to manage your situation, you are going to come out better. You are going to come out smarter. Whatever it is that you are going through in your life, it is not going to kill you. It is only going to make you a better human being.

You will learn a lot from your situation if you do not resent it, if you do not fight it.

We learn from something when we accept it. To get there, you have got to first position yourself for greatness. When you are ready for greatness, whatever it is that is trying to stop you from getting to where you want to go cannot stop you from getting there.

The only person who can stop you from achieving your own greatness is you. If you do not stop yourself, no one can stop you. Do not give up.

If you think of giving up, remember that no situation is perfect. If you can focus on getting better, on learning, nothing can stop you from getting to where you want to go.

Before you go, don’t forget that ‘Today is the first day of your dreams.’

Don’t Play This Game

Choose your game wisely. Choose your game based on what is truly important to you. Choose your own game based on what you want to achieve in your life.

Don’t choose your game based on what other people want you to do. That is not a winning game. It is a losing game. It is one that you will never win.

Because it is not your game. You don’t belong there. You are just trying to fit in.

Yes, life is tough enough. What do you think is going to happen to your life if you do not have the courage to follow your own path?

What do you think is going to happen to your future if you don’t have the courage to play your own game?

Happy? Angry? Frustrated? I do not know. You know better. And you know what you can do. Do you?

Why not play your own game? You will win when you play your own game, when you live your own life. Do not play other people’s games. Do not live like other people. Because, according to Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy, ‘No one else has the exact same goals or standards you do. … Your standards aren’t the same as anyone else’s. Your objectives isn’t the same. Your Unique Ability and Calling aren’t the same. … You can’t beat someone else by being them, just like someone else cannot beat you at being you.’

If you are serious about growth, your own growth, you must have the courage to be yourself.

Because no one can beat you at being you.
