This Is The Time To Focus On What Matters To You

‘When life is stressful, when you have a setback in your finances, or when you’re struggling with depression, don’t let those negative thoughts drown out what God promised.’- Joel Osteen

Things happen. We cannot control everything. We cannot control what other people are going to do to us.

We cannot control what other people are going to say about us. We cannot control what life is going to put in front of us. It is okay.

That is why we are here. We are not here to live a boring life, or to do boring things. We are here to grow, to make a difference.

We can do it. Yes, fear will try to tell you that you are not good enough, that you do not have what it takes to get ahead, that you are too poor to know what you want, or that you are not educated enough.

Fear can say what fear wants to say. But is your own responsibility to stay focused on what really matters to you.

When things are not going well, that is when you should never give up. When you are facing financial issues, that is when you should never give up.

When you are alone, when no one sees you, when no one cares about you, when you are depressed, that is when you should bet even more on yourself.

Because when things are not going well, all you have is you. Do not expect people to cheer you up. They are not going to do it. Why?

Because you have not done anything big yet. But don’t give up. Just keep doing what you are doing. Your time will come.

As always, you are more, not less!

Self-Love Is Not About This

Have you forgotten yourself? Have you abandoned yourself? If you have, you are not alone.

But you can reconnect with your life. You can be with yourself again. You can make your life matter again.

To do that, you have got to love everything about your life. Everything starts with self-love, but it doesn’t end there.

Because self-love is your foundation. It is your pillar. If you are okay with yourself, you will be okay with other people. But it doesn’t mean that everything is going to be perfect, that you are not going to face challenges.

That is not the point. The point is that things are going to happen. Some you can take care of. Others you are going to need other people to help you out.

But when you are in love with who you are, you can face anything. You can put yourself together, no matter what.

You can love yourself, no matter what is going on in your life. When in doubt, remember that self-love is not about being perfect.

Self-love is about being comfortable with your imperfections. It is about being okay with who you are. It is being alive. It is about loving yourself, whether things are going well with you, or you are just getting by.

It is about having the courage to be with yourself, to see the world around you in a new way.

Self-love is about knowing that other people are different, that they are going to act in different ways, that you are going to accept them, no matter what.

Self-love is not about self-abuse. It is about self-respect. It is about self-care.

It is not about being arrogant. It is not about being who you are not. It is not about thinking you are better than other people.

Self-love is your inner voice that is always there for you, especially when things are tough.

Self-love is about allowing yourself to fail, to make mistakes.

Self-love is about having the courage to do what you love, not what people want you to do.

Self-love is about enjoying the little things around you. It is being in the moment. It is about making your moments count.

So if you want to stay in love with yourself, you must work really hard to keep loving yourself.

As always, you are more, not less!
