Know Yourself

Who are you? Do you know yourself?

Life is journey. Life is not about imitation; it is about being your true self. No matter what you are going through in your life, you are not your circumstances. You are you. You are powerful. You are a blessing to yourself. You are a blessing to your friends. You are a blessing to the world.

By knowing yourself, by being true to yourself, by loving yourself, by making yourself happy, by believing in yourself, no one can make you unhappy. Because you are in charge of your life. According to Eckhart Tolle, “By knowing yourself as the awareness in which phenomenal existence happens, you become free of dependency on phenomena and free of self seeking in situations, places, and conditions.” You are not without; you are within. So if you want to know yourself, look within.

God Has Raised You Up

In the book of Romans 9:17, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.”

You have been lifted up. Do not put yourself down. Be nice to yourself. Respect yourself. Value yourself. Don’t compete with other people. Compete with yourself. Why? Because God puts you here for a purpose. God wants you to achieve your purpose. If you compete with other people, you will miss your own dreams. You will miss your own purpose. You will miss your own life.

You can change that by taking responsibility for your own purpose. God loves responsible people. God is working on your behalf. God is fighting your serious battles on your behalf. All you need to do is to believe in Him. Give thanks to Him. And He will protect you from your fears.

God wants you to enjoy your life. You do that by taking responsibility for your own life. God can’t do everything for you. But He will be ready to help you when you are in serious trouble. When you are in serious trouble, talk to God. When things are not working for you, don’t run to man, run to God. Because He loves you. And He can change your life.
