How Developing Yourself Can Help You Win

Success doesn’t happen by mistake. Growth doesn’t happen by mistake. Failure doesn’t happen by mistake. And your future is not going to happen by mistake.

If you want where you are going to change, you must change. You must develop yourself. You must do things that make you uncomfortable. You must get out of your safe zone. You must change yourself. You must pay attention to what you are taking into your mind.

You must pay attention to the people around you. Yes, you have read about this before. But it is true. If you are around the wrong people, you are in trouble! Your dream is in trouble. Why is that? Because they don’t care about your dreams, your goals. They don’t care about what you are trying to accomplish. They just care about what you are doing for them. To say it simply, they are in the game for themselves, not for you.

If you want to see success in your life, you must change your environment. Where we are is powerful. The people around us are powerful. Our thoughts are powerful. They can change the direction of our lives. They can change how we think. They can change how we work.

If you are around positive people, you will benefit from their wisdom. If you are a learner, you will learn a lot from them. Because the right people make things easier for you. They make learning easier for you. They make your dreams even easier to go after. Because they never stop encouraging you. They are there for you when you need them. They are just great people!

When you are around great people, people who are doing great things, doing big things becomes normal to you. When you are in a positive workplace, getting difficult things done becomes nornal to you. When you are with positive people, you are not scared. You are free to talk about your dreams. You are free to be who you really are. You are free to live your life, to try new things. Because you get support from the people you work with.

But the opposite is also true. If you’re not in a great environment, your growth is not going to be fast. It is going to be really slow. Why is that? Because nobody cares about what you are doing. And you won’t even know if you are on the right track or not. But you have a choice. If you don’t like where you are, if you are not getting what you want, if your life is stuck, you don’t have to continue. You have got to leave!

Don’t fear. Don’t let fear keep you in a place where you are not going to grow. Don’t give in to fear. Because fear doesn’t care about your future. Fear cares about where you are right now. Fear wants you to be safe, to stay where you are, to avoid risks. Your fear is trying to keep you safe, not to put you out there. And success doesn’t happen like that. If you want to succeed, you must take risks.

When it comes to your growth, when it comes to your success, what you accept today is what you will face in the future. What you accept today is what you will sleep with tomorrow. If you want your tomorrow to be better than your today, you must take care of where you are today. You must take care of what is really important to you. You must be comfortable with the things that make you uncomfortable. Because that is where your growth is going to come from, if you do not give up.
