Life is not going to be easy for you if you are not playing the game of life for yourself. Life is not going to be fair to you if you are not true to yourself.
Life is life. You cannot talk your way to success. You cannot wish your way to success. You cannot lie your way to success. You cannot win at the game of life if you think you are not good enough, if you doubt yourself, if you don’t believe in who you are.
Life does not care about your past. Life is not even interested in your tears. Life is just rolling, whether you are rolling with it or not.
Life is not waiting for anyone, not even you. So if you are in the game to win it, you have got to be you. Because life does not reward people who are not where they are supposed to be. Life does not reward people who are not true to themselves. Life rewards people who have the courage to take a stand. Life rewards people who are not pretending to be who they are not.
If you are one of those people, it is not too late to start redefining your life. You can do it. It is not because you are the smartest person in the room. Because that is why you are here. That is exactly what God created you to do. To define yourself.
To do for you. To love and treat your life like it matters. Because it does! It matters. Make your life happen. Do not wait for permision to make your life happen. You can do it, right now, where you are, and with what you have.
Stop waiting for people to give permission to live your life. That is not going to happen. If that is what you are waiting for, you are wasting your time. Do not let that happen to you! That is not good for you. It is also not good for your future.
If you want a better future, you must get in the game of life and do the work. When you do the work, you are more likely to win than not. Even if you do not succeed, at least you have done your best. That is better. Because you are not a bystander in your own life. You are in charge of your life. You are in the driver’s seat. Then what are you still waiting for?
