How To Get Back Up

Things are going to happen to you that you can’t control. Things are going to shake who you are.

When they happen, don’t stay down. If you want to make progress in your life, you must get back up.

To get back up, according to Anthony J. Klarica, you must ‘break challenges down into manageable parts to help address them.’ If you want to be successful at what you are doing, don’t do everything at the same time. Focus on what can make a difference in your life.

Be prepared for injuries, setbacks and disappointments, appreciating that they too are part of the journey.’ Life is full of obstacles. When they happen, take them as learning opportunities.

‘Respect the fine line between winning and losing, and learn how to lose.‘ Life is a testing ground. It is your laboratory. It is your own personal university. When you fall, get back up.

When you fail, do it again. Because it is the only way to win. If you want to win more, you must fail more. Remember, success comes from failure. If you want to win, learn how to fail.

Reflect on resilient stories from others you can relate to in order to sustain your own resilience.’

Your journey is special to you. If you are having trouble making progress, reach out for help. People are willing to help. But you must first help yourself. You do that by reaching out to them.

Remember, resilience is about how you handle your situation. It is also about how you carry yourself.

When you are down, don’t stay down. Get back up. When you fall, get back up. And keep going. Be patient. You will get to where you want to be.

As always, you are more, not less!
