Labels Are Not Real

Love and label cannot coexist. Love and judgment cannot coexist. When you label people, you can’t love them.

To love people, do not judge them. To love people, do not label them.

You cannot love and label at the same time. Remember, love is acceptance, not judgment. Love is accepting people for who they are. Love does not focus on people’s weaknesses. Love accepts weaknesses.

‘Every label we hold, every label we stick on others, every label we judge is not real. They’re not real, but they’re effective. These labels do a wonderful job of making the ‘other’ less us and easier to care less about.’– Humble the Poet

If you really want to love other people, do not focus on their weaknesses. Instead, focus on their strengths.

Remember, when you focus on what people are not good at, you will miss what they are good at. Do not let that happen to you.

Ken Costa On How To Live Each Day With Purpose

Take your faith to work

‘We will take our faith to work only if we know that our work is valuable to God.’

Operate with God’s values

‘We are called to advance God’s kingdom, sharing the ‘sphere of goodness’ … as we operate with God’s values.’

Do not work for ‘a not-for-purpose organization

‘You can work in a not-for-profit organization, but you cannot work in a not-for-purpose organization.’

‘We need to root our lives in the peace that Christ has given us if we are to deal effectively with stress.’

Protect Your space

‘God is the space giver; the devil is the space invader.’

Believe in God

‘We are failures only if Christ fails in us, and that He will never do. We can confident that He who began a good work in us will carry it through to completion.’

Only God can change your situation

It is only God alone who can change our situation, enabling us to stop dwelling in the past so that He can transform and empower our future.’
