If you really want to make a difference in your own life, you must learn the act of accepting defeat. If you want to grow, you can’t avoid defeat. All you need to do is to learn from it.
In order to learn from defeat, you must first accept it as a learning opportunity. If you don’t accept it, you can’t learn from it. According to Robert Collier, “In every adversity there lies the seed of an equivalent advantage. In every defeat is a lesson showing you how to win the victory next time.” Defeat is your friend, not your enemy. If you want to make it your friend, you must accept it as your friend.
If you want to be successful, failure is normal. You just need to learn how to manage it. If you can manage your failures, you can make it in life.
There is no success without failure. But failures bring success to you. So when you make a decision to succeed in your life, even when you don’t know what is going to happen in the future, your thoughts will drive you into taking the right actions. You know, without the right action, failure is certain. Period. But you can change it. To change it, you must be willing to change. You must be willing to learn from failure. You can do it. You have done it before. You can do it again.
You can succeed in life if you keep your mind set in the right direction all the way through to your final destination (if there is one). You can succeed in your life if you are willing to learn from failure.
Remember, it doesn’t matter how many times you have been knocked down. Focusing on getting back up is what is going to get you going. It doesn’t matter how many times you have been knocked down. When you are down, don’t stay down. Because if you want to do well in your life, you must get back up. If you don’t get back up, you will never succeed. H. G. Wells said, “If you fell down yesterday, stand up today.” If you fell down yesterday, you must do whatever you can to get back up. If you don’t do it, you will never succeed. The choice is yours.
