You work yourself to success. In other words, you must do the work to succeed. Success does not come from wishing, it comes from doing the hard work that no one wants to do.
If you want to succeed, if you want to be happy, don’t wish, do the work. Don’t wait for luck. Luck happens to people who are prepared to succeed. The prepared people are the lucky ones in their chosen disciplines.
You will succeed if you just stop wishing and start doing. You will succeed if you can support your wish with actions. You will succeed if you understand that you cannot be successful through wishful thinking. What you sow is what you will reap. What you plant is what you will harvest.
Farmers don’t wish, they plant. Doers don’t wish, they do. Instead of wishing, think of what you want, plan, take action, and follow through.
