What Are You Spending Your Time On?

Time is important. Your time is important. How you spend your time is important. Where you spend your time is important. And what you spend your time on is important.

Why time? Because life is time. And time is life. When you spend your time on what is bad, on what is not adding anything to your life, you are wasting your time.

Don’t say, ‘I don’t have time.’ Instead, ask yourself, ‘How am I spending my time?

To have more time for love, for wealth, for happiness, for your own personal development, you have got to pay attention to how you spend your time.

Remember, what you spend your time on today is what you are going to get tomorrow. If you want your tomorrow to be different, you have got to take care of your time today.

When We Are Different

What does it really mean to be different? What are we learning from our similarities?

What are we learning from our differences? Are we learning anything from our similarities?

Remember, life is bigger than you. Life is bigger than me. Life is bigger than wealth. No matter who you are, life is bigger than. No matter how smart you are, life is still bigger than you. No matter what you have, life is bigger than you.

We are not created the same. We are created to be different. And we are not going to be the same, like it or not.

When you try to be who you are not, you are not developing yourself. Instead, you are trying to live your life like others. When you are not you, you can never change what is not working for you.

How can you change what you don’t know? Think about that.

If you want to expand your life, you must get out of your small box. You must explore the world around you. Because the world around you is bigger than you.

The world is bigger than yourself. You need other people. To do that really well, when you meet people, don’t focus on where you are similar. Instead, focus on where you are different. Explore what you thought you know about them. You will learn a lot when you respectfully focus on knowing more about other people.

You will learn a lot when you are doing it from your heart, when you are doing it in order to know what you don’t know, and when you are doing it to make yourself vulnerable.

Yes, it takes courage to know other people, to admit what we don’t know.

Differences are good. Similarities are also good. But if you want to know yourself, you must first understand the world around you. You must first understand the people around you.

Don’t focus on where they are weak. Instead, focus on what they can do to make the world a better place.

Remember,

people grow when they are respected, when they are cared for, when they are positioned for greatness, when they are challenged, when they are who they are, and when they are part of something bigger than themselves.
