How To Make Your Values Work For You

You can make your values work for you. And you can also make your values work against you.

Respect your values. Do not disrespect your values. They are your building blocks. They are your pillars. Without them, you are nothing. Without your values, you do not have what you need to live a better life.

Your values represent you. They are your inner directors. When they talk, you listen.

When your values say no, you do it. When your values say yes, you do it. You don’t disagree with your values.

You can. But you will pay for disobeying your values. You can make your values work for you. You do that by making decisions based on your core values.

You don’t do anything that is not in line with your values. You don’t make decisions that don’t match your core values.

And you can also go against your values. You do that by doing things that are not in line with what you stand for. You do that by disrespecting your core values.

If you want peace, respect your values. If you want chaos, disrespect your values.

Life is tough. And real decisions are hard to make, especially when other people are involved.

But if you strongly believe in your values, if you know what your core values are, they can guide you through anything in your life. All you need to do is to believe in them. When you live your values, your values will live you.

When you follow your values, your values will follow you. And when you respect your values, your values will respect your life.

Remember, life is about standing for something. If you do not stand for something, then nothing is coming your way. If that is what you want, that is okay. But if it is not, you have got to step up. Are you?

‘God’s Presence Can Sustain You’

No matter what is going on in your world, God is with you.

In his book Hope in the Dark: Believing God Is Good When Life Is Not, Craig Groeschel writes, ‘In your most desperate moments, God’s presence can sustain you. Just as resistance in the gym makes your muscles grow stronger, resistance in life strengthens your faith in God. Over time, as you grow in the grace of God, what normally would have rocked your world becomes something you can take in stride, knowing God is with you and will carry you when you are weak.’

When God is for you, you can handle anything. You can face your life. You can face your fears.

When the road ahead is dark, foggy, God is with you. When you do not know what to do, when you are confused, God will answer you.

‘… God is with you and will carry you when you are weak.’

When things are not working for you, God is working for you.

Yes, it is hard to believe in God when things are hard. But if you can ‘take your next step by faith’, if you can follow God, He will never let you down.

‘… if God makes you a promise, it will happen.’

What are you doing to receive it? According to Craig Groeschel, When God says something to you, record it, because your spiritual enemy is an expert at stealing the seeds of truth that God wants to plant.’
