Know What You Want

I do not know what you want. Whatever it is that you are going after, you can get it.

First, you have got to believe in yourself that you can do it. Second, you have got to know what you really want?

It is important. Why is that? Because if you do not know what you want, if you do not know why you are pursuing your dreams, you are not going to get what you want.

To achieve success, you must know what you want.

When you know what you want, you will know how to go about getting it. And you will know how to walk around anything that is standing in your way.

When you know what you want, it is easier to do things that will keep you going.

If you do not know what you want, that is okay. Self-knowledge is not a sprint. Self-knowledge is a marathon.

Take your time to figure out what you want for your life. It is better to go after what you want than to go after what people want you to do.

Even when you succeed, you are not going to be happy with yourself.

Do not rush through your life. It is better to learn through your life than to rush through it.

It is better to do what you want, not what people want you to do.

Remember, you have one life to live. If you want to live it really well, you must do whatever it takes to live your life on your own terms.

How To Earn The Trust Of Others

‘We must do the thing we must before the thing we may. We are unfit for any trust till we can and obey.’- George MacDonald

Without trust, you are not going anywhere. Trust is everything. When it comes to dealing with the world around us, trust is everything.

When it comes to dealing with the unknown, trust is everything.

And when it comes to you, if people don’t trust you, you are going to find it really difficult to succeed alone. No one succeeds alone. Trust makes success possible.

When it comes to other people, don’t worry about them. Instead of worrying about other people, focus on living your values.

People will trust you when you are living your values. Why is that? Because you are not just an ordinary talker; you are a doer. You do what you say you are going to do. When you say you are going to do something, small or big, you actually do it.

That is how you build trust. Words don’t build trust, actions do. You can talk all you like. If you do not support your talk with actions, no one is going to trust you.

Trust is life. To have it, you have got to work really hard for it. Do not say what you are not going to do. If you can’t do something, then don’t even talk about it.

Do not promise what you can’t give. We are human beings. If you do not have something, don’t tell people you have it.

If you can’t do what you say you are going to do, let them know before it is too late.

When you can’t do it, tell them why you can’t. Do not just tell them what they want to hear. If you want them to trust you, you must tell them what they need to hear from you, not from your secretary.

People don’t deal with your secretary. They deal with you. If you want people to trust you, you must first trust yourself.

If not, you ‘are unfit for any trust.’
