Why Is Loyalty So Expensive?

Why is ‘loyalty’ so expensive? People want loyalty, but they are not getting it. Why? Why? People want to pay to get it, but they are not getting it. How can we get it? Where can we find loyalty?

Why is it so important? Loyalty is a bond builder. It connects people together. It opens doors of opportunities for those who are loyal to their boss or manager. Loyalty happens where there is consistency of behavior. Loyalty happens where there is a strong relationship between people. People are loyal to you when they respect you, when they trust you, when they believe in you, and when your integrity is solid. But if you lack any of these values, you shouldn’t expect people to be loyal to you.

Where is loyalty? Where can you find it?

Loyalty is within you. You have it. You can give it out for free anytime you want. It is free! But you can’t be loyal to people if you are not honest with yourself, if you don’t live your values, if you don’t have strong relationships with people, if you don’t believe in people, or if you are not consistent.

If you want people to be loyal to you, be loyal to them. Period. If you give loyalty out, you will get it back. Loyalty is like planting a healthy seed. If you plant a healthy seed, you will reap a healthy fruit. But if you plant a terrible seed, you will reap nothing. Loyalty is free. If you give it out to the people you trust, they will give it back to you.

If you don’t respect people, don’t expect people to respect you. You earn loyalty; you don’t demand for loyalty. Give it out for free and you will get it back for free. Try it!

How To Stay Relevant

We all want to be relevant. We want to live our lives. We want to do our own things, in our own ways. We want to be treated with respect and dignity. We want to grow. We want to stay important. We want to stay relevant.

How do we stay relevant? How do we keep growing?

To stay relevant in life, you MUST first think, see, and treat yourself in a relevant way. You must first see yourself as an important person. You must treat yourself in a respectful way. If you don’t know who you are, if you don’t know your values, if you don’t know how powerful you are, no one will care.

It is important to stay relevant if we are to enjoy life. The only critical way to stay relevant in life is to keep moving. We need to keep growing. We need to keep moving. We need to keep challenging ourselves, keep questioning our assumptions, keep connecting with others. We need to get out of our comfort zones. We need to keep trying new things.

To stay relevant, Will Rogers said, “Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.” No matter where you are, what you are doing, how you are doing it, don’t be comfortable. Don’t think you have nothing to learn anymore. If you keep that kind of mentality, you will miss lots of opportunities to grow and improve yourself.

Always challenge what you think you know. Open your mind to learn new things, to take new ideas, to question people and yourself. If you don’t bring in new ideas, new ways of doing things into your business, your business will not be around for long. If you don’t keep upgrading yourself, you can’t keep your job for long. If you want your life to be relevant, keep doing relevant things.
