Do Not Be Scared To Define Your Own Life

Whether you want to hear it or not, your life is your life. No one is responsible for your life. Everything about it is yours to take care of. If you can’t take care of your life, If you do not value your life, who will?

Ask yourself, ‘Who is really in charge of my life? Am I in charge of my life? Am I doing what I love to do? Am I happy with myself? Am I living my best life?’

If you are not, you can change it. You can make things better. You can do better things for yourself, and you can make things better for you.

No matter where you are, no one is responsible for you. You are responsible for yourself. You are responsible for your choices.

If you don’t want to disappoint yourself, you must define your own life.

And you have the power to define your life. Because if you let others define your life for you, don’t forget that you are the one who is going to be responsible for what you get.

Why is that? Because you are responsible for the consequences of your actions. Why?Because everything starts with you.

Don’t Underestimate The Power Of Respect

‘Don’t minimize the power of respect.

‘Too often leaders feel that respect isn’t all that important, that it’s touch-feely and intangible. Or they’ve got thoroughbreds in their stable, brilliant geniuses who may be incredibly rough on people but are tolerated because of their valuable contributions to organizational success. Leaders who feel like this are grossly underestimating and minimizing the power of respect and the destructive nature of disrespect.’- Gregg Ward with Walter G. Meyer

When it comes to people, love and respect is everything. If you want your people to follow you, you must give them respect. It is important. Don’t underestimate the power of respect. Give it to your people, no matter what. They deserve it. And you will get it back from them.
